I think you misread the bit about Folds’ fourth (!!!!!!) wife, Frally. Years later, I maintain that “You Don’t Know Me” is about her specifically, or that is the feeling I get because this is ther Internet where everybody with opinions gets to spout them. (Unlike you, I keep them all on my lonely blog that no one reads, rather than troll other people’s work.) At any rate, “The Bitch Went Nutz” is probably some lazy justification for Ben Folds having fucked-up ideas about marriage and relationships that got him married five (!!!!!) times.

Do I think Ben Folds is a Republican frat boy type? No, I think he’s a Libertarian frat boy type. And he’s written much funnier jokes (see: “Underground,” “One Down).
