About
About this blog:
Apparently, people actually click through to this page, so, welcome. We’re a blog about music (kind of), things going on in DC and New York (sometimes), and mostly our own random ramblings and tangential thoughts. (Also, alliteration!) We’ve been told, “I think your blog is more fun than byt.” And when Sara Gimmy says things like that, you know they’re true.
We have two bloggers. Here are our bios, as written by the other one.
About Michael, by Katie:
Michael is my brother. He is a student at NYU. I think his favorite band is The Decemberists, but it might also be the Naked Brothers Band, whom he actually saw walking down the streets of New York last weekend. He likes chicken and web comics. He is in a fraternity, and used to play rugby. I can only assume this means he has seen a lot of straight men get naked.
Every morning, Michael plans to review his bowl of cereal. I hope he uses three to seven Simpsons quotes per review.
If you’re wondering which one of us is more obsessed with Jukebox the Ghost, it is probably a tie.
Mike is your resident New York expert. He goes to lots of shows, and sees famous people like all the time. I only ever saw minor Food Network personalities, but one time in DC I saw Wolf Blitzer! Like living down the street from Peter Dinklage is really that fucking great. (It is.)
About Katie, by Michael:
Kathryn Rose Bolton was born in regions unknown in southeastern Pennsylvania on June 6, 1986. Like every other person born that day, she is much older now. After graduating from George Washington University in 2007, she decided to put off growing up, and instead ran away to France for a year to teach English to French kids. Since returning to America, she has divided her time between being unemployable and being marginally employed. She enjoys dreaming about being friends with bands, and not watching movies (she doesn’t like the way the toy with her emotions). A quality sister in general, she is always keen for a good fight, which leads me to wonder just what kind of trouble this description might garner me.
