New For Friday: “Temptation” by Jukebox the Ghost (New Order cover)

I promise I’ll find time to blarg more after the holidays. This cover often pops up in Jukebox’s live shows, and you may recall that I friggin’ love it. As usual, they really own this cover. I’ve always been a fan of the big, big sound Jukebox manages to create with far fewer instruments than much larger bands. These boys are maniacs!

Jukebox the Ghost – Temptation

This track builds up and backs down and builds back up, and the beat gets into my feet like crazy. I just emailed this to the Middle Sisters and wrote: “My panties are around my ankles, which is weird, because I’m wearing pants and sitting down. That is the force of the hotness of this track.”

Gimmy wrote back “YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SONG. I HECKLE FOR THIS SONG.” Which is true.
