Friday’s New To Me” “Wind Phoenix” Cymbals Eat Guitars

For the past couple months I have been seeing that Cymbals Eat Guitars were going to playing everywhere.  From a name like that, I assumed it was a loud techno group/dj that might be ok, but not really worth my time.

Then, I saw they were playing basically everywhere during CMJ, and I decided I would give them a listen.  WAS I EVER WRONG.

These guys blend happy pop rock, with experimental hard rock insanity.  I must say, I gots ta see these guys soon (I just missed a free show in Brooklyn last night, DAMMIT)
