The entire Internet has been weeping rhinestone-covered tears over the sudden passing of Michael Jackson. Even Mikey got a little weepy with an uncharacteristically sweet tribute. (Don’t worry, he’s getting back to his old ways this afternoon. I’d like to insert my editorial zing! in advance.)

Washingtonians, tonight’s 9:30 Club show is going to be especially weird and sad: Who’s Bad, the Michael Jackson Tribute Band. Weird, huh? Their early performance tonight is sold out, but tickets remain available for the late show. If you’re into morbidity and tribute bands, then have a blast.
